Sharon Osbourne is set to return to the UK X Factor

Simon Cowell has reportedly dropped Sinitta as a contributor at the judges houses stage of the competition as she would not sign a confidentiality agreement legally binding her from discussing any details of the X Factor.

This means there will be someone new with Louis Walsh which strong rumours are suggesting is Sharon Osbourne as she has announced she is to step down from the American X Factor.

Sinitta is said to be extremely disappointed as she has been on the show for many years.

Apple iPhone 5 Release Date

Apple are rumoured to be bringing out the iPhone 5 in a months time. 

Apple have apparently told staff they are not able to take holidays between 21st and 30th September suggesting the release date is to be 21st September 2012. The iPhone is to be released on a Friday this time to make the most of the weekend and maximise sales.

There is also reports that Apple will be using the launch event to announce the new Apple iPad Mini as stores have been told to make room for a new product.

Apple iPad to control SKY+

From today you can use your Apple iPad as a remote control ...

Apple have updated their Sky+ app so you can now Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, Change channel and scroll the menus from your iPad without interrupting your TV viewing.

The re-designed app also has a new guide which features improved navigation and searching of the genre tabs.

Later this year SKY are to introduce new technology which will enable your iPad to become a second screen allowing you to watch two of your favourite programs at once.

Sky said "To benefit from the new design, users need to have the new Sky guide on their Sky+ HD box and must make sure their iPad and box are connected to the same WiFi network".

EX EMMERDALE ACTOR ARRESTED

Seamus Gubbins who played Ray Mullan the stalker in Emmerdale between 2001-2002 has been arrested on suspicion of running a cannabis farm according to the Irish Sun.

A source told the Irish Sun "There's a good chance he won't be around to see his kids for a couple of years if he is convicted"

Police found 25 plants valued between £12,500 and £24,800.

Gubbins has had a few minor roles in The Bill, Doctors, Casualty and most recent was 32 Brinkburn Street.

20 Million viewers for BOLT

USAIN BOLT retained his title last night in front of 20 MILLION viewers on the BBC

He won GOLD in the mens 100m final with an Olympic record time of 9.63 seconds.

Usain will be back in the 200m heats on Tuesday 7th August.

GOLD for Team GB

Well done to Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins for clinching another GOLD for Team GB in the Double Skulls Final.

The girls won by more than a length in just under 7 minutes 

"It was worth the wait," Grainger told the BBC, adding: "It's just the satisfaction of a job well done."

Watkins said "I just can't believe it, I just had to ask Katherine if it was a dream."

3rd - Poland

Tonight's the night Ian is set to make a come back. 

Tanya and Max get help from Alfie and track Ian down. They find him in an underpass but once returned to the square all is not well and Lucy is furious!

GOLD for Team GB.....

Finally Team GB have secured a GOLD medal!

The first gold medal came from the Rowing Pair Helen Glover and Heather Stanning who won by over a length. This win continues an unbeaten run this season.

WELL DONE GIRLS!!

The mens Quadruple rowing team have secured their place in the final after finishing third in the semi-final so GOOD LUCK lads!!
