TV Choice Awards 2012

2012 was the year for ITV

The 2012 awards were handed out by Jo Brand with many of them going to Corrie and Emmerdale.

Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan picked up Best Soap Actress while Emmerdale got their hands on the Outstanding Contribution Award.

Eastenders managed to keep hold of the Best Soap Award for the 4th year running while Shane Ritchie won the Best Soap Actor.

Britain's Got Talent brushed aside X Factor and The Voice to win Best Talent Show.

I was glad to see Mrs Brown's Boys get an award for Best Comedy Series and Celebrity Juice winning Best Entertainment Show.

SHARON'S BACK!

Sharon Osbourne is set to return to the UK X Factor

Simon Cowell has reportedly dropped Sinitta as a contributor at the judges houses stage of the competition as she would not sign a confidentiality agreement legally binding her from discussing any details of the X Factor.

This means there will be someone new with Louis Walsh which strong rumours are suggesting is Sharon Osbourne as she has announced she is to step down from the American X Factor.

Sinitta is said to be extremely disappointed as she has been on the show for many years.

Apple iPhone 5 Release Date

Apple are rumoured to be bringing out the iPhone 5 in a months time. 

Apple have apparently told staff they are not able to take holidays between 21st and 30th September suggesting the release date is to be 21st September 2012. The iPhone is to be released on a Friday this time to make the most of the weekend and maximise sales.

There is also reports that Apple will be using the launch event to announce the new Apple iPad Mini as stores have been told to make room for a new product.
